Do we need a health and safety program in Alberta?
If you regularly employ 20 or more workers, yes. Alberta requires you to establish and implement a health and safety program. Smaller employers still have OHS responsibilities even when a formal program isn't required. (Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, s. 16)
How does COR/SECOR work in Alberta?
COR/SECOR recognizes employers whose health and safety management systems meet established standards through an approved audit process. It can also qualify employers for WCB-Alberta premium refunds. We help with readiness and internal audit preparation.
Can you manage our ISNetworld profile for Alberta clients?
Yes. We can map your safety program to client requirements, prepare RAVS® content and maintain your profile and documentation so contractor prequalification doesn't hold up your bids.
